The Griya Villas and Spa is absolutely fantastic and it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at!! Our experience was so amazing we wish we had more time to stay longer!! Firstly, location location location! It’s situated in Amed - which is truly a hidden gem of Bali. Minimal tourists, lovely local people and beautiful beaches with lots of opportunities for snorkeling and diving. The resort is only a walking-distance away (10min walk) from Lipah beach. You can also easily get to Jemeluk Beach and the Japanese Shipwreck in 10-15min by hiring a scooter/car from the resort. There are lots of surrounding restaurants with authentic and well-priced Balinese food. The Heavens Gate, Water Temple and local Rice Fields are also 30min drive/ride away from the resort. The villas themselves are absolutely stunning with contemporary decor incorporating traditional Balinese motifs. But the best of all is the breathtaking views of the ocean, moutains, daily sunrise and a clear night sky full of stars you can access from your own villa. All of which you can also enjoy from the luxury of your own infinity pool! Last but not least, the restaurant makes delicious food and cocktails!! Every dish was cooked to perfection - we were very impressed by the in-house chefs! The staff are excellent - professional, friendly and helpful at all times! The resort also offers yoga classes, Balinese dance performances and many options for short or full day trips which are very reasonably priced. All in all, we only have praises for Griya Villas and Spa. We will definitely go back and would highly recommend this amazing resort to anyone visiting Bali!!

My fiance and I stayed 3 nights which I recommend as it takes a while to get there from other points of the island. The room was very spacious including a private pool with a sea view! Both the living room and bedroom opened to the pool. I literally jumped from bed to the pool at sunrise- such a treat! The staff we interacted with were all very friendly and helpful. Overall we really loved our Griya & Amed experience. There's a beach just minutes away with excellent snorkeling. The town is small & we found some good restaurants & massages for great prices! Definitely try the tiny yet gorgeous Barina rice terrace look-out for a fried banana and ginger tea & incredible views(it's on your way into town). We also rented a scooter to get around the various beaches and sites, even making our way to Virgin Beach. Amed is a incredibly relaxing place with laidback vibes and Griya Villa is a perfect home base to explore.

It is a spacious master room with a (half) open bathroom with a shower and bath and two rooms with only showers. The beds are comfortable. The layout of the villa and pool is private and pleasant to have a good time with a family or a group of friends. Cleaning and maintenance of the pool is done properly. Breakfast is a la carte and offers sufficient choice. The staff is working very hard to be hospitable. The first night we were bothered by mosquitoes and asked for mosquito nets. They were able to provide nets for 2 of the 3 rooms. Great snorkeling and beaches nearby.

Great lunch and dinner menu. Close to amazing snorkeling, easy walk or arrange a free shuttle pick up. The resort arranged for a wonderful driver to pick us up at the port Kadek Pena. He was wonderful, knew the areas so well, spoke very good English and was very friendly. We actually hired him to take us for a day tour. HIGHL:Y recommend the Gryia Resort hires him at every opportunity.

The views from our villa, the horizon pool looking over Lipah beach and the sun rises just to mention a few simply stunning! The villa had fantastic amenities and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The service was excellent all the staff really the cream of this wonderful resort Thank you so much everyone our 8 night stay was amazing!
